They exist in the protagonist's cognition. In the real world, the protagonist either knows them, or has met or heard about them, which even he does not necessarily need to have realized.
Hiromu Miyazawa: A food critic active on TV and online channels. Visiting various restaurants, Miyazawa actively gives reviews on the food he eats in his personal show. However, in reality, he is a demanding and conceited man as restaurant owners are forced to give him bribes so that they won't receive negative reviews and he won't take away the restaurants from them.
The game also features multiple characters that Wonder can interact with in Tokyo using the "Confidant" system.[4] Compared to the main series, it was heavily reworked: the number of ranks has increased, but not every rank results in unique dialogue conversations.
Viewing this event as the catalyst for his professional career and personal life falling apart, he now terrorizes women by shoving them at train stations and holds a venomous grudge against Motoha, willing to destroy her life through any means necessary.

All-Out Attacks can now be initiated by any party member (except navigators) once every enemy has been downed. A new feature to this game are Highlight which are performed in a similar vein to Showtime, albeit it is performed with only one character rather than two. After charging up a meter, a character can be selected and they will use a Highlight. Some Highlight like Lufel's are stat buffs or health recovery rather than attacks. The protagonist's highlight has different versions depending on which type Persona that he has summoned with during the battle.

There is also a seperate gacha to obtain weapons for each character. The weapons from the gacha give an specific benefit to the character who equips them. Certain character are variations of another and can’t put two versions of the same character on one team. For example, several characters can't be together in the same team with their own alternate versions such as Mont with her 'Figure Skater' alter version.
Not to mention moving around on mobile is clunky - I save all palace/mementos exploration for PC where I know the controls are more reliable... I really hope this game doesn't die within a year, but it seems like it will at this rate.
Unless SEGA puts out a statement to at least commit to reward parity with the Chinese server, I can't recommend playing this game. At the very least, definitely don't spend on it.
The gameplay isn't bad, but it's clear that they've decided to focus on finding more ways to get people to spend rather than creating Persona 5 The Phantom X an enjoyable experience. Especially when we have previous versions to compare to, the global version is way stingier, consistently giving less rewards and increasing prices.
To accommodate the format of a free-to-play game created primarily for mobile devices, Persona 5: The Phantom X adapts the Persona mechanics with various changes.
At Tokyo Game Show, the Japanese version of the game was revealed. There was an in person demo alongside cosplayers and merch much like the previous event. That event also announced that there would be a beta for the game to be revealed at a later date. Gallery[]
